A Night of Cocktails, Readings, and More! On Thursday, August 29 Chicago Writers Conference presents its annual benefit, and it promises to be one of our most exciting events of the year! Guests can enjoy libations from Revolution Brewery, treats from Trader Joe’s, readings from three different authors, and a silent auction featuring a range of goodies that include a one-night stay at the swanky Blu Aqua Hotel.   The $40 admission includes all food and beverages. The Biggest Submission Mistake According to editor and writer Dana Norris, “The biggest mistake people make when submitting is not considering the question, ‘What will my piece contribute to this magazine?'” Don’t let your hard work go to waste!
